Free Introduction To Square Dancing
No introductory SATB dance events currently scheduled
If you are interested in learning to square dance please contact us or click on the Valley Circle link in the right side bar to get information on other clubs. There are local square dance clubs that would be happy to teach you. The square dance community is very welcoming and many of our SATB club members participate in several dance clubs in the Lower Mainland. Learning with another club is a great opportunity to network with other dancers and what you learn there prepares you to dance with us.

Or just want to have a free, fun evening doing something different? Then come on out to Squares Across The Border's introduction to square dancing. The first two lessons are FREE.
This is not the square dancing you may expect or remember:
- Dress is casual
- Music is contemporary
- We laugh a lot
- It's great exercise
- Singles and couples are welcome
- Lead? follow? Your choice
- Absolutely no experience (or rhythm) is necessary
- Don't know your right from your left? You'll learn!
Scheduled Dance Nights
Saturday Feb 7, 2026 from 7-9 pm
All weekend dances will be at the 411 Seniors Centre Society 3502 Fraser Street. The entrance to the hall is through the back lane. The levels will be whatever level the dancers are comfortable dancing at, from Mainstream to C2. Fee is $10.
